Tretiva is used to treat severe, disfiguring nodular acne. It should be used only after other acne medicines have been tried and have failed to help the acne. Use protective measures such as sun-cream or protective clothing. It may cause dryness of mouth, lips, and eyes. Drink plenty of water, use moisturiser and avoid wearing contact lenses. Your doctor may get regular blood tests to track lipid levels, liver function, and cell count in your blood. Do not take Tretiva 10 mg Soft Gelatin Capsule if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.
