Gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) also known as acid reflux is an abnormal flow of stomach acid into the esophagus. Reports from the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders (IFFGD) states that approximately 33% of the American population suffers from acid reflux disease.

Acid reflux disease is caused by a dysfunction of the lower esophageal sphincter / valve, which prevents food and acids from the stomach to flow back into the esophagus. PREVACID has been created to control this disorder by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. It relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. PREVACID also heals acid damage to the stomach and esophagus; helps prevent ulcers and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus.

Follow all prescription instructions from your doctor when taking PREVACID. Do not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor.

Take PREVACID before your meal.

I have been taking PREVACID for over 12 years. It works very well. If I miss taking it I get awful heartburn and nothing else seems to work as well. Even when I fill my RX online, I’m still satisfied with the drug. It’s fantastic.

I’ve been using PREVACID for years for reflux esophagus and it has given me the relief I needed. I was suffering severe reflux and terrible burning. It gives me a good way to digest my food, water, etc.

I have tried many different drugs for my acid reflux. I am a singer and had damage of my throat from excessive acid. I was not being able to sing at all. My doctor prescribed PREVACID 30mg. I have had healing of my throat; I am no longer hoarse all the time, and am able to sing again. I have tried PREVACID 15mg over-the-counter and it does not work for me so I get the 30mg at my doctor’s recommend online pharmacy. A major plus, since this saves me a lot of time and money. Otherwise, my insurance company will not pay for the prescription PREVACID 30mg. Shame on UnitedHealth Care and Blue Cross/Blue Shield Alliance! My doctor knows what is best for his patients, not you!

I got off the Nexium after trying over the counter products for less money- The PREVACID was recommended by the pharmacist saying it is the next best thing to Nexium. I’ve been on it for a week and it is working as well as the Nexium. I have GERD and if I go one day without it I am suffering- so this has worked out well for me.
