Foracort Forte Inhaler should be taken exactly as directed by a health care provider. Use the medicine with a prescription. Don’t take larger or smaller doses than recommended. The product package has instructions how to properly use the inhaler.

For the treatment of asthma, take four puffs, twice a day: in the morning and evening. Children 12 to 17 years should take 2 puffs daily. Children 6 to 11 years old should not take more than 2 puffs, twice a day.

For COPD, the patient should not use more than 2 puffs, twice a day. The Foracort Forte Inhaler should not be used by a patient younger than 6 years.

It is unknown if Foracort Forte Inhaler can cause harm to an unborn or breastfeeding baby. Let the doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Store at room temperature and away from heat, light and moisture. Keep the medicine away from the reach of children. Keep the canister with the mouthpiece turned down. Don’t puncture or discard the canister in an incinerator or fire.

Do not use Foracort Forte Inhaler with other long-acting beta2-agonist drugs. This can increase risk of chest pains, palpitations, anxiety, tachycardia and tremor.
