Description
Diethylcarbamazine is a drug used to treat certain worm infections. The drug works by killing the worms. It is prescribed to treat Loiasis, Bancroft’s filariasis, Eosionophilic lung and river blindness. This drug will not work in the treatment of other worm infections such as tapeworms or pinworms. It is available only with a prescription from a doctor.
